Recently Ravebo were contacted by a large shipmanagement company because one of their vessels had electronic issues with their gangway system and it was not functioning. Due to previous successfully completed services that we had performed the customer contacted us again to attend.
Immediately upon receiving the confirmation to attend and given less than 24 hours before vessels arrival in La Coruna, Spain. We arranged the flight tickets and our engineer flew the next morning early, to arrive shortly before vessels arrival in the port.

One of the situations onboard when we attended.
On board our engineer discovered the original layout to have been modified and he had to revert it back to the original layout replacing many of the old worn components. An electrical schematic drawing had to be made from the existing working cabinet as no drawings of the original system were available on board.
After reconnecting all the cables and other components from the operator panel, this was then taken through the system and then these same connections were then duplicated to the existing working cabinet.
Before our attendance (wires loose and not connected) and after our attendance (all connected & bundled).
Upon completion our engineer could run a function test to ascertain if the system was working properly with power and connections.
All was found OK and vessel could leave the port in time with its starboard gangway fully functioning again.
The situation before our attendance and after our attendance.
