Service Engineer

(Fulltime)

Due to growth and expansion we need to further strengthen our team. We are looking for Service Engineers to join us at Ravebo Marine Services in Brielle, The Netherlands. As a Service Engineer, you will have responsibility for trouble shooting, service, and maintenance of various automation systems on ships and in shipyards mainly within Europe. As well as offer in-house technical support and remote service to customers around the world. You will also carry out workshop calibration and repair work.

You will join a committed, knowledgeable and positive team that are highly skilled, trained and educated and supports each other extensively. We are having fun at work, while providing world-class support.

Your responsibilities

  • Carrying out inspections, repairs and modifications;
  • Preparing, analysing, trouble-shooting and resolving failures;
  • Be responsible for your activities related to the service and repair or maintenance of products taken on for service/repair.
  • Writing full & complete service reports regarding the performed activities to the department and the client;

Requirements

  • An EU valid passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands.
  • Customer focus, flexibility, strong time management skills and a pro-active and constructive attitude.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Several years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or the strong desire to become one.
  • Relevant technical background.
  • An open and engaging communication style.
  • Good communication verbal and written in the English language.
  • Safety minded, enjoys working both independently as well as within a team.
  • Willing to travel often at short notice.
